Triveni started the manufacture of steam turbines in 1968, to provide steam turbine solutions for drive application and power generation. Today, it has over 2000 installations across a range of industries, which include Bio-mass & Municipal Solid Waste based Independent power plants (IPPs), Captive power plants (CPPs) and Co-generation plants in industries like Sugar, Paper, Textiles, Fertilizers, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Pharmaceutical, Carbon Black, Solvent Extraction, Steel and Naval. With a capacity to produce about 100 turbines a year, Triveni has emerged as the clear market leader (70 % market share) in India in the market segment of capacity up to 30 MW.
Apart from Indian market Triveni also supplied turbines to Northern Europe, Africa, Central & Latin America and ASEAN countries thru effective Dealership network.
Triveni is the first steam turbine manufacturer in India, which are ISO 9000-2000 and ISO 14001 certified.
Triveni to-day has shifted the focus from being only the equipment supplier to solution provider in this field. Triveni has the expertise to provide solutions for both heat (steam) and power requirement of any process industry.
